KBL France (Kredietbank Luxembourg) is a member of the KBC Group, one of Europe’s main financials actors with over 51,000 employees and 11 million clients. The strategic mission for the KBL part of the group is to develop the Private Banking in Europe. Since it’s implementation in 1998, KBL France is striving to excel within the Private Banking sector by combining the advantages of being a “human sized” company (less than 200 employees) and belonging to a solid, dynamic and international group.

My position was divided between accounting and controlling with an emphasis on accounting. I was responsible for the daughter-companies belonging to KBL France.

My tasks included the accounts payable ledger (400 invoices/month), account receivable ledger, payroll accounting, tax declarations, bank reconciliation and improving and updating internal procedures. My responsibilities also included preparing and analysing the monthly reporting, assisting the preparation of yearly budget and quarterly forecasts and some punctual management controller tasks. I supervised the trainee of the accounting department and I reported to the Director of Finance for KBL France.

Intsel Chimos SA is the number 1 niche provider of hospital products and services in France. Since 2004 the company is jointly held by the Danish group Marsing and the Indian group Hikal.

My responsibility was to assist the Director of Finance in her daily work. My tasks were daily accounts payable and receivable ledger, payroll accounting, monthly accounts and other general activities.

Carglass is the world leader in repairing and replacing vehicle glass. The company is a part of the Belron group and has subsidiaries in over 25 countries all over the world.

My responsibility was to represent the company by helping the people in need of advice and solutions to their vehicle glass problem.
