Åkers is the world leading roll supplier. ÅKERS offers a complete programme of rolls for hot and cold rolling of ferrous and non ferrous metals in cast iron, cast steel and forged steel from a few kilograms up to 60 tonnes.

I perform numerical calculations to simulate our processes and the roll in use. I have regular customer contacts and help them to find the best possible solution.

Pechiney/Alcan Issoire has a leading position in the market of plates, sheets and extrusions in for the aeronautical industry. The products require fine metallurgical tuning to meet the customer's requirements.

My function included:
- improving product capabilities towards customer specifications
- implementing a database containing process data and product properties
- reducing the time needed for furnace surveys using Lean Six Sigma tools (part of Green Belt training)
